These terms cover your use of the True Range Research website and the True Range Research indicator suite. Please read them. By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the software, you agree to them.
True Range Research is operated by PJV Holdings LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company, doing business as True Range Research. In these terms, "we," "us," and "our" mean PJV Holdings LLC. "You" means the person or organization using the service.
Charges on your card statement may appear as PJV Holdings LLC or as True Range Research.
True Range Research is a technical indicator suite that runs inside TradeStation. It reads historical price data to identify recurring patterns and marks the setups it finds on your chart. NinjaTrader and TradingView support are in development and are not currently available.
A subscription includes two models, each tuned to one instrument. You choose which instruments — two futures contracts, two equity tickers, or one of each.
The software marks patterns. It does not decide anything, place orders, connect to your broker, or take any action on your behalf.
The software is an analytical tool, not advice. Nothing produced by True Range Research, and nothing on this website, is personalized investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security or contract, or an offer to effect any transaction.
We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, commodity trading advisor, or financial planner. We do not manage accounts, hold client funds, or exercise discretion over any account. We are not registered with or endorsed by any regulatory body.
We do not know your circumstances. We have no knowledge of your financial situation, objectives, experience, or risk tolerance, and nothing we publish or produce is tailored to them.
Every trading decision is yours. The suite is meant to be used alongside your own technical or fundamental analysis, not in place of it. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and their outcomes.
Trading involves substantial risk of loss, including possible loss of principal. Leveraged instruments, options, and futures carry additional risk and are not suitable for every trader. Historical patterns do not guarantee future results. Past performance does not indicate future results.
Before acting on anything you see here, consider consulting a licensed financial adviser, tax professional, or attorney about your specific circumstances.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You must have an active TradeStation account, which you obtain separately and at your own cost. You are responsible for making sure your use of the service is lawful where you live.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at peter@truerangeresearch.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Accounts are for one person. Do not share your credentials.
While your subscription is active and paid, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the True Range Research indicator suite for your own trading and research.
This is a license, not a sale. We keep all ownership of the software.
What a subscription covers. A subscription licenses two builds. A build is the version of the suite tuned to one instrument and its paired ETF. You choose which two when you sign up.
Additional builds. You may add more builds at $79.99 per month each, or $799.90 per year each. Added builds are licensed on the same terms and renew on the same schedule as the plan they are added to.
Installations. Each licensed build may be installed on the TradeStation platform under your own account, for your own use. Licenses are issued to one person and may not be shared, transferred, or used by anyone else.
When your subscription ends, the license ends. You agree to stop using the software and remove it from your platform.
New subscribers get 14 days at no charge.
A payment card is required to start the trial. Nothing is charged during the 14 days. We require a card so that each person gets one trial.
At the end of the 14 days, your paid subscription begins automatically and your card is charged $199.99, unless you cancel first. We will email you three days before that first charge.
Cancel at any point during the 14 days and you are not charged.
One trial per person and per payment card. We may decline a trial to anyone who has had one before.
Price. $199.99 per month, or $1,999.90 per year, in US dollars. That covers two builds. Additional builds are $79.99 per month or $799.90 per year each.
Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically on the same day of each billing period, and your card is charged the then-current total for your plan and any additional builds, until you cancel. This continues indefinitely unless you cancel or we terminate.
Adding builds mid-term. A build added part-way through a billing period is charged from the date it is added and renews with the rest of your subscription.
Authorization. By starting a trial, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your card on the schedule above.
Your card details. Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. Keep your payment details current; if a charge fails, we may retry it and may suspend access until payment succeeds.
Taxes. Prices exclude any sales, use, VAT, or similar taxes, which are your responsibility where they apply.
You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation is self-serve — you do not need to call us, email us, or speak to anyone.
Cancel during the 14-day trial and you are never charged.
Cancel during a paid month and your access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for. You are not charged again.
We will send you a confirmation email when you cancel. If you do not receive one, contact us at peter@truerangeresearch.com.
Monthly charges are not refunded or prorated. The 14-day trial exists so you can evaluate the software on your own charts before paying anything.
We do not refund for change of mind, for setups that did not work out, for trading losses, or for periods you did not use the software.

Consumers in the UK and EU normally have 14 days to cancel a distance contract for digital content. Where that right applies and you have not consented to immediate supply and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right, it is unaffected by this section. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country.
True Range Research runs inside third-party charting platforms that we do not own or control. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TradeStation, NinjaTrader, or TradingView. We receive no compensation from any of them, or from any broker or exchange, and we are not paid based on your trading activity, order flow, commissions, spreads, or account size.
You need your own active account with the platform, obtained separately and at your own cost. Your use of that platform is governed by its terms, not ours.
If a platform changes its software, interface, or data feed in a way that breaks compatibility, we work to restore functionality as quickly as we reasonably can. If the suite is unusable on your platform for more than seven consecutive days because of a change we did not make, contact us and we will pause your billing or issue a credit for the affected period.
We are not responsible for platform outages, data feed failures, latency, or errors in data supplied by a platform or exchange.

The software, the website, the written guides, the models, and everything else we produce belong to us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your subscription gives you a license to use the software, and nothing more.
You keep ownership of anything you create using the software — your charts, your notes, your trading records.

Support covers getting the software installed and running. It does not include trading guidance, interpretation of specific setups, or advice about your positions.
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may take the service down for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.
We may add, modify, or remove features. We may change the price of a subscription.
If we raise your price, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before the change takes effect, and you may cancel before it does.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if a payment fails and is not resolved, or if we reasonably believe your use is unlawful or harmful to the service or other users.
If we terminate your account for breach, we are not obliged to refund amounts already paid.
We may discontinue the service entirely. If we do, we will give reasonable notice and refund any prepaid period that you have not received.
THE SERVICE AND THE SOFTWARE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF DEFECTS, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE COMPATIBLE WITH ANY PARTICULAR PLATFORM VERSION OR CONFIGURATION.
WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY ABOUT THE RESULTS OF USING THE SOFTWARE. PATTERNS THE SOFTWARE MARKS ARE OBSERVATIONS DRAWN FROM HISTORICAL DATA. HISTORICAL PATTERNS DO NOT GUARANTEE FUTURE RESULTS, AND PAST PERFORMANCE DOES NOT INDICATE FUTURE RESULTS.
INFORMATION IS DRAWN FROM SOURCES BELIEVED RELIABLE BUT IS NOT GUARANTEED AS TO ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY TRADING LOSSES, LOST PROFITS, LOST OPPORTUNITY, OR LOSS OF DATA ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE OR THE SERVICE, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSSES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE [TWELVE] MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email or by a notice on the site at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, cancel before they take effect.
